So made those changes and no change. Lock/unlock/remote start still not present. Signed out of the app and rebooted phone. Signed back into the app and nothing.
I am almost 100% sure you will not get this to work on a 2015 Mustang. There have been many that have tried this and no one has reported that they got it to work.
You can update up to the 2018 firmware with your hardware. But I doubt that is what the issue is with the remote start thru the FP app.

F110>DSCM5T-14F642-AD
F111>EB3T-14F536-AA
F113>GL3T-14F642-AA
F188>JL3T-14F530-AB
This is from a 2018 F-150, but likey yours is very similar. There are really no options to program in the GWM from 2013 thru 2020.
It is an automatic so that should not be an issue.
The TCU firmware is up to date with the latest Forscan has for it.
The APIM has more than the minimum required but not the latest. So I can try updating that if updating the GWM does not work. I have activated the hotspot capabilities of the TCU and am able to connect and use it.
I will try to update the GWM this weekend and see if that will make a difference. Would any other modules need to be updated to work? TCM or Door perhaps since I am looking for remote start and lock/unlock?
Replaced the GWM with a J series from a 2018 mustang. Deleted the Mustang in the app, uninstalled the app, rebooted the phone, reinstalled the app, added back the Mustang but still no remote lock/unlock/remote start through the app.
Could the lack of lock/unlock/remote start on the app be related to the BCM or PCM? Maybe flashing new strategy/calibration would enable the features on the app.
I doubt that, but you can try. But, I have used FORScan since it’s inception, and IDS before that, and flashing those 2 modules will leave you without a vehicle if the flash goes bad. You would have to use FDRS to recover. Just be careful.
The TCU and APIM asbuilts are fine. However, I do not recommend firmware updates to the BCM or PCM to try to fix this as I don’t believe that is the cause. From reading other forums I think this is a FordPass thing.
I will try a few more things before calling it quits but I think you may be right. This is likely a Ford server issue. If I am able to get it to work will post an update.
