2016 f150 sync 3.0 won't update to 3.4

I’m hoping to get some help with my 2016 f150 lariat not taking the update to sync 3.4 from the current 3.0 23219
I plug the usb into the truck and it says
“updating system” for 20 - 30 minutes until it says complete, it resets but it stays in sync 3.0.
Iv tried this multiple times with diffrent usb sticks, it has the upgraded usb hubs, iv done master resets and also tried 3 diffrent versions of sync 3.4 updates with no luck of the system taking the update.
Any help is appriciated!

Provide the log for the USB you are using.
Also, create, run and share the interrogator log XML output file.

A GJ5T-14G371-CFC is a NAV model with 32GB of storage. The unit is not being read properly or there is an issue with the APIM.

Post the Syn3Updater logs from the USB. You should be using reformat to upgrade to Sync 3.4.

That is the Interrogator log, not the Syn3Updater log, but…

The Interrogator is not reading the storage properly but does see the 8GB usb you are using.
You have 2 DTC’s that should be identified and corrected.
You do have an early unit that uses a known bad file:
“Vehicle Manufacturer ECU Software Number” = GB5T-14G374-AF.
This file has a bad address structure and will cause the issues you are having. It should be replaced with a new -AF file using FORScan, full version for firmware programming.

Or, just buy a new APIM…probably a better bet if you don’t need the onboard NAV and use your phone.
