Hello anyone knows how to disable this message? I have looked in forscan in ipc module but there is nothing there , this is 21 digital cluster in 13 generations ford ,try two different clusters and they all have same message so I assume its written in different module not ipc
If you turn off the Power running board option than the DTC will stop.

Thats a work truck option. I can’t remember what the feature was called but you just need to turn it off in the IPC. It’s keeps track of tools for workers.

Says it’s disabled. Of course using Easy mode is not always 100% correct. I was wrong it’s not what I thought it was. It’s the tray table for the center console. I dont know what that is called.
Use the spreadsheet. Livinitup has the most complete info on this stuff. I am headed out the door for the day so see if you can find the right setting here. If @F150Chief swings by he may no more about this.

I am curious how well this works for you as I would like to do the same with my Expedition.
I have spent 2 days trying to find that option, At this point I believe its under different module apim or bcm and some very odd title , I have exhausted all ipc options
It could be in the APIM I guess but that is a Sync 4 thing and you probablly wont find it in Sync 3. Either way the IPC has to be configured for that message I would guess.
The networks in the Sync 4 vehicles have quite a few differences.
If that is the fold down work surface on the center console then you are probably stuck with it. If you have a column shifter there might be a way, but if you have a console shifter you must stow the work surface to operate the shifter.

I have a column shifter , so what would be that other way? I have looked in ipc there is no such setting for this , It must be in other module
