Chimes from ipc instead speakers

I uploaded the file from you, reset the APIM using Forscan, and factory settings using Sync3. Unfortunately, the sounds are still coming from the instrument cluster. I’ve locked the car and will wait until morning; maybe it still needs to go to sleep completely.

Unfortunately, the overnight stop didn’t change anything. I’ll try resetting the ACM and IPC later using Forscan and see if any errors appear.

How about just pulling the battery cable for 35 minutes to force a full cold reboot of the car?

Randomly, i also have this problem on my fiesta st mk8  i think it happened when i upgraded my speakers :man_shrugging:

I disconnected the battery, but that didn’t help. Forscan shows no errors. Resetting the APIM, ACM, and IPC from Forscan didn’t change anything either. Any other ideas? I read that after replacing the speakers, you need to replace the resistors, but I have completely factory audio. The only thing I can think of is that I have ANC, and the hybrid with regular audio + ANC supposedly has an additional amplifier. But the ACM has the original AS-built, there shouldn’t be a problem with that. The ANC works…

The DACM-C isn’t an amp, it just injects noise to cover what Ford refers to as unique Hybrid noises.

I’m thinking you have a calibration compatibility issue.

In the ACM there is a setting to not check for OPEN for the speakers. If you changed the speakers and getting this issue change the setting to NOT check for open. This will ignore disconnected or wrong impedance speaker circuits. This is in the ACM asbuilt. If setting this resolves the issue then you have a speaker wiring issue. This will not always set a DTC, but will cause the audio to be routed to the IPC to make sure the warning sounds are heard. You could just have a bad ACM also…

I replaced the ACM with another one. The ringtones were coming from the IPC with the new ACM’s Asbuilt. I replaced it with my factory Asbuilt, but that didn’t change anything. There must be something wrong with the configuration. I have remote start added to the IPC, but the problem appeared before activating that feature. The rest of the configuration is the same as the original. I’m slowly getting tired of this car

Guys, I have open-circuit speaker detection disabled in ACM. When I test the speakers using the equalizer and fader, they all sound fine. Is there a chance that the resistance or something else has changed (I don’t know much about speakers) and ACM is detecting a faulty speaker even though they play normally and there are no errors in the DTCs?

Hey, I’m still struggling :D. I ran the diagnostics from Sync3 and noticed something interesting. During the speaker test, the system tests the woofers and tweeters in the front doors, but only the woofers in the rear doors, even though I have tweeters… However, I don’t see an option in the ACM configuration to enable or disable the rear tweeters, and I suspect this will solve the ringer problem.

Standard 6 speaker does not have rear tweeters, just blank covers inside the door trim.

If you added tweeters these would be wired in parallel with the door speakers (just like the front doors).

7D0-01-01 xxxx xXxx xx you have as a 4 in your posted AB that would be a key start, a 5 would be a push button start.

7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxX xx you have a 1 which would be an HD radio that you wouldn’t have in the EU, should be a 2

The VIN number indicates that I have eight factory speakers, and the rear speakers are definitely connected to tweeters, as I even replaced one once. I’m surprised the system doesn’t test them. I was hoping for a breakthrough. I changed the values you mentioned a while ago, but to no avail.

You probally do have 8 speakers and of course they are connected but it’s how they are connected. Your rear speakers being in Parallel are just like a coaxle speaker. Unless they are wired individually than no setting in t

Hey guys, I finally managed to get the ringtones back in the audio speakers. I recoded the ACM 727-01-01 module: xxxx-x * xx-xxxx A->8. So now I’ve lost ANC. I haven’t driven the car yet, so I don’t know if there’s actually a difference… Now the question is, how do I turn on ANC without losing the ringtones? Honestly, I’ve been struggling with this several times a week since August… those gentle sounds are so pleasing to the ear now

ANC on the Focus just adds fake engine noise to the left rear speaker, it doesn’t make the car any quieter.

This is a Mondeo, sorry, I haven’t changed my profile details yet

Is this a Vignale or a Hybrid?

Do you have the 3 circular microphone pickups (1 forward of each B pillar and 1 in the rear center)?

When ForScan starts does it pickup a DACM-C module?

This is a hybrid, I have three microphones in the headliner. The DACMC is detected by Forscan.

Doing a compare between a Sync3 native 2017 US Fusion Hybrid SE with auto park/CTA which has the same IPC here are the deltas.
