I used to work for [car company] and now work as a Sr. IT Infra specialist for all of Western hemisphere for a [car related] company. I recently acquired a 2019 Lincoln MKC, and I’m having trouble with your program. I would like to [show] i’m legit having trouble.

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?

If this is enough of a bug that a leader [thinks it is questionable] , I think you would want to know if this is a trouble in the software, before other users report it

i was just looking at the date i downloaded your program the first time on 1/9/2026… all those map files are from 1/10/2026… very very strange, because at that time 2.24 was the newest

This clearly does not say that. We have looked at the software and this option does not exist. If you would just perform the option I gave you this would resolve your issue.

i will do that if you want to see the real legit files it is showing me I’ll be happy to show you, but I will do as you say to fix the trouble. Thank you for your help. I just don’t want you to think I am lying the files look like they were downloaded to my computer on 1/10/2026 from 9:05-9:15p.

Can you list the files? I’ll help you fix the issue but if the files are the ones in the reformat.lst file you shared then they are not complete and you cannot use those in a reformat. You would need to use the Ford supplied autoinstall.lst file. I would like to see that file…

I see a file Ford_Lincoln-Toolbox-inst.exe on my pc was downloaded 1\10\2026 at 8:45p I wonder if that is where those files came from. how they got into the syn3updater folder I don’t know… but that makes sense what you said they were something from ford.

I wonder if them being in the syn3updater folder is causing the program to show them in the maps pull down. I’d be happy to share any of this with you. (it just said I’m not alowed to share more than 21 times in my first day, so I had to edit this to show you the file names)

I work for a company with vpn, so possibly it thought I was connected from Asia, and thats is where those files came from… wonder how they got in that folder tho… as soon as my usb gets made I will try moving those files out of the syn3updater folder and close and reopen the program to see if the option on the menu goes away. thanks again for your help.

That program is used for ROW region vehicles, not North America vehicles, and that file is the result of a maps download from the Ford_Lincoln-Toolbox app. I am very familiar with that app as we supply support world wide. If you are in NA you should not be using that app, and if your vehicle was manufactured in the US it would show your VIN as not eligible thru the Ford_Lincoln-Toolbox app.

Move those files out of the Syn3 Updater folder and try the Syn3 Updater again after you restart the Syn3 Updater app to clear the cache. In any case, do not select that file option again.
