Does this APIM have navigation?

I got an APIM and a screen from a 2018 Ford Fiesta. By default, it didn’t have maps or the navigation icon. I used Forscan to make the icon appear, but there are still no maps. Is it possible to find out how much memory the APIM has? I want to update to Sync 3.4 and I don’t know whether to choose the option with or without navigation.
My Apim number is JA6T-14G371-ABC

Are you sure about the part number?.
From where are you pulling that?.
Do you have a picture of the sticker?.
That model is unknown, that’s why I’m asking…

Running the interrogator log will tell you how much storage the unit has.

That’s the assembly model (14G370), the APIM is 14G371.
You previously said it was 14G371, that’s why it looked odd to me.

As previously said, create, run and share the interrogator log output or read the model through Forscan.

Nav will never work on this APIM as it does not have the memory to support Nav. You can’t just turn on the option and make it work like you could on Sync 2.

Thank you very much. If the car came from the factory without navigation, it probably never had it and never will. Do you recommend updating sync from 3.0 to 3.4 or 3.0 to 3.3 to 3.4 ?

It can have it but you would need to put in a Nav capable APIM.

If you want Android or CarPlay to use maps it is best to upgrade to 3.4. You will likely need a new USB hub for CarPlay anyways.

Thanks, I just updated to Sync 3.4 and yes, I have the new hub. Everything works perfectly; I have Android Auto and maps, so I’m very satisfied. Thank you so much for creating this program.
