When I download the files onto my mac from the page, it automatically decompressed the .gz file and it ends up as just a .tar file. I tried putting .gz after the .tar and it says it’s changing to just a gz file, is that correct or do I not need to change it?
You can turn off the automatic decompression feature by going to your Safari preferences. See the attached screenshot for what to turn off. After you turn that off you can re-download the file and it won’t automatically decompress.
