DTC Errors and Front Camera not working after Sync2 to Sync3 upgrade

Alright team, I’m exhausted after a long day of troubleshooting and clearing DTC codes so I am finally here.

I recently upgraded my 2016 Ford Explorer Limited from Sync2 to Sync3. I was able to get 99% of everything up and running correctly after popping it to FORScan and changing some settings in the As Built. (note that last year I had updated my instrument cluster from the stock IPC Type 2 to the IPC Type 3 as seen in the Platinum).
Again, everything is up and running correctly EXCEPT my front camera. I cleared about 5 DTCs through changing some settings and have ensured that the front cameras are enabled in FORScan. Here is where I am though. I seem to be having a “Front Camera Malfunction” as indicated on the dash and when in drive standing still my camera button on the console doesn’t switch to the front camera (it will change to split view from rear camera when in reverse).

As built is incorrect.

IPC change related likely. Either the IPMA needs a firmware update to be compatible or the IPC as built is incorrect.

Not related to APIM but maybe IPC change? Something is preventing the DSM booting completely it seems.

Thanks Chief! I was thinking the root of my issue was in the IPC and once I got that right everything else would fall into place.

I started off with the rear camera not working -fixed that, treble/bass resetting to mid on its own -fixed, heated/cooled seats not showing -fixed, heated steering wheel not showing -fixed. Basically has to reset the IPC from scratch like it came from an XLT donor.
