Check your usb ports for another device plugged in, like a phone or another usb for music. Also, maybe try another USB for the update. There is nothing in the log indicating an issue with the download.

EDIT: I was responding to the log you posted. If you are in the reformat mode with a red screen, follow the directions below…

You have a autoinstall.lst but no reformat.lst and yet the error you are getting is from the red screen (reformat tool) , no idea what you have done but you are currently in reformat tool and trying to install a standard update. recreate the USB in reformat mode

As said before, what you are saying (reformat) is not coherent with the log you showed (autoinstall, keep maps).

What did you actually do?. If you are in the reformat phase (red screen, non operative unit) just create a full reformat USB (with maps) and try again.

If the error appears somewhere else, show us where.

Hello dear people,
i did it. The Sync3 system is working again.
I recreated the USB stick in reformat mode.
The replay took 47 minutes.
In the end, however, I got the message Error Code PKG_Error 04.

this is because you reinserted the usb when told to do so despite the guide not saying to do this. all is god now.
