Hi

I have been looking to update my car from 3.0 to 3.4 for the obvious benefits and new design.

My car has the adaptive cruise control with collision/lane detection that I haven’t seen many fiestas with, would this update affect this functionality? Currently all of the data/controls are shown on the speedometer screen when in use.

I’ve also seen that you cannot go back once updated, how reliable is this software considering it isn’t designed for the 2018 model?

It won’t affect any of your vehicle options at all.

3.4 is faster than 3.0 and very stable. You can read the version specific threads for any issues, but generally there are very little especially for UK vehicles.

Is there a best version to use for a 2018 Fiesta?

Also to get future builds is it an hour process again or can I just flash on the latest sync version?

Does not matter the mode, just try the most current one available, since many bugs had been resolved.

About future builds, it will depend what’s get updated.
If it’s just APPS (SYNC itself), it will be faster than maps + voice + app.
