I am trying to get mp4 to work on my sync 3 unit but not getting through i currently have version 3.4 build 20136 i have used cyahlabs updater to download latest version of sync on flashdrive but when i plug flashdrive into the headunit it says updating but i waited 1 hr and it does not do anything else but says updating can someone please help me
Is this the drive you bought or one you made? is this even the same APIM? Is your APIM Jailbroken?

No the drive i bought successfully updated my sync to 3.4 20136 but now i saw that i require a newer version to run mp4 however i try updating through the sync updater and im not getting through
Also i jailbreak it myself following the instructions given here

I didnt jail break the apim i just trying to update to get mp4 to work please help!! I try upgrade i try downgrade nothing works!!!
You can’t play MP4’s without jailbreak…
