Hey guys, Sunday as i was coming home from church I got the no GPS signal, but after about 5 mins it went away, would the GPS antenna cause this to happen, the first time it happen was when I upgraded my system and when I got home I shut it down and started my vehicle back up after letting it sit for 5 mins and it never came back until this past Sunday…I also did a satellite strength test and I get about 8 bars some blue, some green and they only go up to 40% to 50% strength wise…
It could have just been a temporary low signal condition. This happens with the GPS satellite constellation from time to time with earthbound receivers. It doesn’t mean you lost all communication, just enough to not be reliable. If it happens again, check the signal strength during the event if possible.
