Help! accicently installed maps verson of 3.4 but my car is non nav and now

Help! i accicently installed the nav verison of 3.4 from 3.3 and when it put the usb in the car it came up an error message so didnt fully install but when i realise my mistake and went to install for the non-nav it keeps coming up error update packages not found even though i formated it to install the non nav

have i just bricked it complety or what, please help me im panicing that i broke the car!! cause i cant get any music or etc and everytime i start the car it says put usb in to update

Your message does not make a lot of sense.
Do you have an image of the error?, this will confirm my theory.

Package error appears on the reformat phase, and it’s red.
If so, if your unit is in the reformat phase, you need to:

set 3.0.xxxxx (any) as your current Sync3 version.
set whatever version you want as destination.
You should see that the install method chosen by Syn3Updater is “reformat”.

If so, go ahead, create the USB and try again.
I’m also assuming you do not have a MY20 unit.

So, post a picture of the error.

This is the error message I keep getting and yes I don’t have a my20 unit
