Hello I need help because there was a problem with the update, and it keeps giving the error below and I’ve tried with 4 different versions and 2 flashdrive and it doesn’t work. what should I do?

Recreate your usb again, the log is erroring on a file that hasn’t been downloaded. It isn’t bricked don’t worry, but it won’t work again until a new usb is used

The real question is: why is your unit trying to reference a file that’s not even mentioned in the log that you provided…
That package is gracenotes, of which you have a different version on the USB and lst files…

I managed to solve it, when I go to download I have to deactivate the gracenotes package since my central does not have maps, it should already be deactivated when I select no maps

Something does not add up …
The log says something, but reality mentions a package that was not even included or referenced by Syn3Updater…

At this point, and since you mentioned this is 100% reproducible, I would ask for the following:

  • open Syn3Updater and configure it accordingly.
  • post a screenshot of such configuration
  • recreate the USB as you did

Once the USB is created, post the following:

  • log creation file
  • screenshot of the USB structure/contents, both root and SyncMyRide folder
  • contents of the autoinstall.lst and reformat.lst files

Since you are saying that already worked and it seems you are not willing to provide information to troubleshoot why it originally failed, I’m closing this thread since there’s nothing else to troubleshoot.

And again, Gracenotes has nothing to do with NAV or NO-NAV.
