How to get out of part 2 update screen?

I tried updating my sync 3 to 3.4 and my idiot self selected navigation for a non nav unit and now I cannot get it to reset at all, disconnected battery, took apim out and disconnected, no matter what I do it comes to the screen where it shows the ford logo, a mustang logo, and a mustang with version 306 in the top right corner. How do I get out of this so I redo the update as non nav.

You don’t, you need to complete the reformat phase.
So, recreate the USB without NAV this time and that will do it.
