Phones are Huawei so not a strange brand, however I understand Google hzs issues with this manufacturer.
I’ve used both oem and good quality aftermarket USB cables. Used both USB ports in the car.
In my skoda AA worked fine with theses phones and cables so don’t know what else to do
At this point what I would suggest is to borrow a friend’s phone from another brand like Motorola or Samsung and try it. If it works, it’s something with your phone’s brand.
If it does not work, then it’s something from the list I’ve sent before.
