# Screen black after instalation

After instalation of synk 3 the screen make black. What can do new?

**Navigation Variant:** Nav

**Manufacturer Year:** MY20

**Install Type:** OEM

**Old SYNC Version:** 3.0

**New SYNC Version:** 3.4

**Do you have a error message, if so what is it?**  
After instalation of synk 3 the screen make black. What can do new?

If all the little information you posted is true, you killed the unit by reformatting a MY20 unit.

Your options are limited:

- try reviving it with [GitHub - bigunclemax/sync3flash: Ford Sync 3 reformat flash tool](https://github.com/bigunclemax/sync3flash)
- have someone else recover it
- replace it
