After doing my sync 1 to sync 3 swap and manually editing all apim values my sony panel buttons backlights no longer work, I have tried messing with illumination strategys but havent figured it out. Any idea how to solve this?

APIM AB values have no effect on the FCIM lighting. In most cases this command originates from the BCM but it is also possable you have a wiring issue. Hard to tell since you neglected to include the vehicle year and model.
Ford does not support this so it cannot be an offical Ford update.
