I recently upgraded to sync 3 in my 2015 f150, diy method, not using a kit. I still have to update the apim in forscan. But first I am just rrying to make sure android auto works. I have read that the sync 2 usb hub works with android auto but not car play. However, when i turn on the car i get repeating usb hub not supported messages, and I didnt get a android auto prompt when i pluged my phone into the usb cord. I only use android auto, and dont plan on switching to a iphone, so i would like to save the $80 for the newer hub if possible. Does anyone have a idea about what i could try to get andriod auto working, and get rid of the unsupported usb hub messages? The sync 3 apim that i installed is currently on sync 3 version 3.2
