Sync 3.4 not working properly

I have updated my original ford edge Sync 3.0.18093 to Sync 3.4.22020. I have faced a lot of problems like not recognizing the apple carplay. I cannot connect two iphones simultaneously or the system just stops working, sometimes my phone shows a message saying the the connection is wet! the only solution I found is to go to general setting and restore to factory setting. It works for a couple of hours but then it blocks itself again. It is really a problem for me, I cannot use waze or google maps or the iphone apps. I would to like to find a way to fix it or to understand how can I roll it back to the original version 3.0 Any advice or comment? thanks

As mentioned in the Syn3 Updater documentation, you cannot go back to Sync 3.0.

You must shut off Apple Carplay or Android Auto for the 2nd phone if both are connected via hardwire. This is done on the phone itself. Both phones can be paired with Sync, but the desired phone needs to be defined as the favorite phone in the Sync phone settings. The second phone will have no functionality as long as the desired phone is connected, either hardwired or Bluetooth.

Thanks for the advice. Regarding the case when just my phone is connected but it suddenly is not recognized and carplay stop working, do you know if there is a version that could work better? thanks again
