**Please describe in detail your issue below:**
...
Sync system seems working fine. Installation was successful until the end.
Only issues I have after the update are;
1-Navigation is not working!
2-Time can't be edited. It switches back to different time zone immediately.
3-I keep getting "USB hubs are not supported please remove" message!
Firstly, CyanLabs doesn’t support changing regions however to address some of your issues…
You need to purchase a new USB hub and install it to get rid of that message
Navigation issues are due to improper region. You need to change your region with FORScan.
If you get the “installation in progress” message that means that some packages are trying to install (this shouldn’t happen with a reformat USB). It’s likely a flag that was pre-existing before the reformat. You’ll likely need to downgrade to a lower build and then back up to the latest to clear that flag/message.
Time not being able to be set is either a configuration issue within the APIM for time source, or a result of improper region/no GPS.
The sync version I updated now isn’t the latest one. There are two more versions newer in the list. Do I still have to do the downgrade or just download the latest one and reinstall it!?
Reformatting doesn’t clear the installation message. I’m pretty sure you’ll need to just perform a downgrade and upgrade between 2 versions and it should clear the message.
The hub you need is HC3Z-19A387-E (BLUE BACKLIGHTING) Ford (Wide 2 USB-A Port). These are about $55 US.
As far as the NAV, you need to change the region in the APIM to your country code using FORScan or other program. You will need a quality OBD2 adapter. This will also solve the GPS and clock issue as long as that is not hardware related.
For the installation message, @avdonr’s advice is spot on, just downgrade to 3.3.19052 and then upgrade again to 3.4.20351 or the latest 3.4.21098. This will clear the message.
