This APIM is a Ford Service Replacement Part. There should be a small tag on the back of it with the service ticket number and the date of replacement.
Something you can check with the dealer first before you go buy a new APIM, is when this APIM was replaced. There are warranties on the Ford Service Replacement Parts, usually about 1 year for the electrical items like this.
They do not and they are not allowed to do so. (As far as FORD is concerned.)
