Hello everyone, I want to update my Sync to version 3.3.19052 (Ford Galaxy 2017).
The question is whether it is necessary to update the APIM to MY18.5 or whether it is enough to update according to the instructions “Windows Automated Method - Update to 3.4”
If your unit came with NAV from the factory, you do not need new hardware.
You can run the interrogator tool to see the amount of space the APIM has, but since it’s a EU unit, it should be a 64GB one, so you are good to upgrade SYNC.
Yes, my unit came with NAV from the factory, I just updated via the Ford website to 3.0 Build 20204.
