i think i did but i did get a few errors as it was loading to the usb maybe that was the error. Thanks so much for the help. Last question before i try it again. Now that its updated to the latest version what do i choose when setting it up? Set it as i have the old version still or set it as i have the latest version?

You didn’t, the log specifically says “navigation: false”, you didn’t include maps.

The USB looks good now.
How long did the process take?, did you see the green screen at the end?.

took about 5 minutes and didnt notice a green screen.

also it took me back to the older look. i guess it downgraded. Maybe I need to redo to upgrade?

Then you interrupted the process.

I do not want to sound like a broken record but you need to read the instructions, you are making this harder than it should.

These are the downgrade instructions → Downgrade Mode Instructions - CyanLabs

You interrupted the process between points 2 and 3.

Insert the USB again and let the process end, READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

shoot ok. now ill set it to the version it shows which is now 3.3.19052 and load the foles to the dongle and redo. Im sorry for this. Thanks much for all the help!

If you are near the car, I think you can re-use the USB as it’s. It’s going to install 3.3 again (I think, which is not required but won’t hurt), but that’s a quick step.

If for whatever reason it does not work, then yes, recreate the USB with 3.3.xxx as current build. That will generate a reformat USB.

ive already started the rest of the dongle to the current version. I hope thats ok…

It’s ok, and it’s cleaner (from the process point of view). I just mentioned it just in case you wanted to potentially save 10-15 minutes

ok. so now i plugged it in and it immediately said update finished then restarted into the green screen stuff.

so now its currently updating app package
