Hi, I have Galaxy 2016 with current sync 3 2.0 version. When trying to update with cyanlabs USB drive the headline comes up on the top of the screen saying ‘Updating System Software’ but after 5 minutes it is vanishing and nothing happens at all. Is there anyone who faced the same issue before? Thank you in advance, Robert

Could you provide a bit more information, did you create the USB using the fully automatic method on the program or did you use the manual method? Did it say it had been created successfully?
Your version will require the unit to be reformatted to install the new version.
Post up the contents of your ‘Autoinstall’ or Log file here, this will allow us to see what’s been downloaded & added to the USB.
Also, what brand of USB are you using? Some seem to work better than others.
Hi, thank you for your quick response. Please find attached my settings and the log file below. I’m using 32gb datatraveler pendrive. At the end of process when I make the pendrive on PC it says the installment is successful, and asks if I want to update the sync version where I clicked yes (I could not understand this question) . You have your previous version set incorrectly, you have it set as 3.4 20282. It should be set at 3.3 19052. The 3.4 20282 is the version you want to upgrade to. Make sure to select maps as the reformat will remove them and they will need to be re-added.

How long is it staying like this? It doesn’t change?
Tried the official Ford installer and that worked for version you wrote before! So the version is 3.0 now I’m going to try to update to the latest version (suppose it should work now). Thank you for your help
