Upgraded from Sync 2 to Sync 3 - Rear camera (OEM) not working (blue screen)

I have a 2013 Ford Edge Sport. I purchased a Sync 3 upgrade kit (SYNC 2 to SYNC 3 3.4 Upgrade Wireless Carplay Kit Fit for Ford Sync3 APIM NA223 | eBay). Everything works (sensors, etc.) aside from the OEM rear camera. I get a blue screen for a few seconds and then it goes black - and says the camera is not available and to contact the dealership.

SYNC Region: NA

Navigation Variant: Nav

Manufacturer Year: Unknown

Install Type: Replica

Old SYNC Version: 2.0

New SYNC Version: 3.4

Do you have a error message, if so what is it?
Blue screen

Update Method: Official Ford

Blue screen indicates no video. The kit you used probably does not accomodate the camera wiring properly.

After a few days, the video actually comes up intermittently - about 10% of the time, with no specific reason for it working when it does.

I think it’s time to double check your wiring.

I will double check. But all wiring/harnesses were plug and play from the original. All were clicked-in/locked-in with the original connectors.

Even so, some people were having issues with poor contact within the connector causing a similar issue.

Sorry but this does not mean anything. I cant count how many mis wired harnesses I have seen or shorts in them.
