2013 F150 SYNC3 Navigation issues

Good evening, I just finished installing a 2017 Edge APIM/Screen in my 2013 F150 and updated to the latest 3.4. I’ve got two concerns, my nav screen is always black, does not indicate any error messages just black. On the multi display it only displays a compass. I purchased a GPS antenna from All Things Sync.

Secondly, my clock will not allow change, it will default to 12 am almost every time. When trying to use GPS adjust it says not available at this time.

Note: that I did this all my own without purchasing a retrofit kit from anyone

if it only displays a compass its not navigation also you need to work on asbuilt

Do you know how to view the Sat signals? Also whats the AB for the APIM and we need an Interrogater log.

I solved my issue after some research. I did not have the correct AB for navigation type.

Location:

DE00/7D0-01-02: x*****xx-xxxx-xxxx

Was at 2=USB2 Disabled, Navigation Enabled (Telenav Common HMI), Rear EFP Disabled

Changed it to 6=USB2 Disabled, Navigation Application Enabled (External Telenav HMI), Rear EFP Not Available

And everything works as designed.

Do you have North America maps installed? Are you in NA or ROW?

In ROW regions The main screen is meant to show the compass only, not the NAV, The symptoms above indicate your are in ROW region with ROW maps.
