2018 Fiesta 1.0 No Turn Direction Clicks

Tun direction indicators “clicks” have stopped clicking! No sound when indicating a turn left or right or hazard. All indicator lights working fine including door mirrors etc. Any practical suggestions for a home DIY fix for this annoying fault before shelling out £££ on a garage repair?
Model is European (UK) 2018 Fiesta 1.0. Thanks.

The clicker sound is electronic and comes from a speaker in the instrument cluster. Maybe someone on the forum would have more info on the issue if it is common?
