Hello, I am considering upgrading my SYNC system in my 2018 Focus RS. Just a quick question: is there a way to maintain the Ford Performance logo while the system is booting up? Or does the upgrade wipe that out and replace it with the Ford logo?

There are several options mentioning Ford Performance, such as:
“0C=RS (Ford Performance) - Rallye Sport (Ford-MY20 Theme w/RS Animation)”
Do you know what value do you currently have?

If you can, I’m not aware how to check that. There’s a way to temporarily change logos through a hidden menu, but I’ve not done so.
If you do not have forscan and an adapter, maybe you could run the interrogator log against the unit an decode the asbuilt (or send the XML over). You can do that with Syn3updater.
