2021 Ford Transit 4" Sync 3 to 12" Sync 4

Hey everybody,

Hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a while but I’m back with a new to me Ford Transit and I’m feeling a little ambitious this time. I’ve found people upgrading the 4" screen in these transits to the 8" but that’s not quite good enough for me and I’d really like the 12. Has this even been successfully attempted yet? Does anyone know why it’s been so difficult?

Sync 4 is a different OS and plays differently with non-Sync 4 vehicles. That being said it will work but you loose OS and NAV updates, along with other features possibly. You can add a 12" screen to Sync 3 and maintain your vehicle features.
