2021 mustang 4 inch to 8 inch sync screen

I’m having some difficulties figuring things out. I have this 2021 mustang that I’m looking at for someone that put a 8 inch screen in this car that orignally had a 4 inch screen. I don’t know much about this apim and I don’t know exactly what I need to do to get this to work again.
Apparently this had the full 8 inch system working but the person did a official update and thats when it got changed to the 4 inch software.
I Also don’t know how to tell which version of sync is installed but I have some of the info from the interrogator that I ran.
If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great. I have an idea something with the as-built might need to be changed but I don’t know what line of code I would need changed and If I need to re program the apim with different software.
Also I’m not 100% on sync version I just put down the latest in the field box so it would let me post.

Since the car originally had a 4 inch screen, the update from Ford’s website and applied the the 4 inch version of the update and not the 8 inch.

You can update via Cyanlabs program which will install the 8 inch software update.

Yeah I figured that was what happened I just couldn’t figure out how to make it take the update. I couldn’t identify the sync software version as I couldn’t navigate the screen to about sync and the interrogator app wasn’t showing me the sync version other than the file part number. I also was getting a pkg_erro(I already forgot the error number) but it would show up immediately. I believe I was using the wrong install method but changed it and it’s working now. I also now have the full 8" screen. Which I honestly don’t know what I did initially because all morning I was messing with this getting nowhere and I just shut the car off and came back from lunch break and I was greeted with the full screen lol. I also ran the interrogator app again and now it is showing the sync version as 3.4.23188 when it didn’t show that originally.
So thanks to anyone that replies, but It appears I eventually got it working on my own. I just did alot of searching and digging through different posts.
