I already searched the forum but didn´t find definitive answers to my questions.
My Mustang is a US import and I am located in Austria. I have factory navigation, of course missing the EU maps and also the TCU can not connect to the EU mobile network. So I am currently missing out on the OTA Updates.
From what I have read until now, I would need an EU TCU for the connection right? We have a 2024 Ranger in our family, would it be a viable test to switch the TCUs?
What else do I need to change? I already worked a little with ForScan and I am an Engineer, so if a soldering is needed (maybe change the eSim in the current TCU) I am also fine with that.
Also I saw that there is a tutorial how to get the EU maps on Sync 3, has anyone done it for Sync 4 already?
