21 F-150 Issues after ForScan IPMA Firmware Update

I replaced the IPMA module in my truck (original was destroyed in an accident). The replacement module came programmed and was working but I had some DTCs that I thought maybe a firmware update could resolve. After running the firmware update with FORScan successfully, I am seeing several new DTCs and am unable to read/access the IPMA. My first time doing something like this, any help would be appreciated. I can share pre/post saved profiles of my truck, for some reason I am not allowed to upload to this post.

Try running the PMI process.

Side note though, The repair company should be doing this for you and insurance should be paying.

Rescan the vehicle with FORScan and make a new profile, as the IPMA firmware was changed. Once you have that, you will need to run a calibration on the IPMA module as mentioned by @bill32399.

Thanks @bill32399 , @F150Chief for the reply.

I have saved a profile of the vehicle in the changed state (also have pre-updated state profile as mentioned in original post).

I am unable to run the PMI process because the old IPMA is not functioning, it was destroyed in the accident.

You said you replaced it. You don’t need the old IPMA. Running the PMI process is for the new one unless you did not replace it like you said you did.

I suggest you take it back to the repair shop and make them do it. That should be covered under the insurance claim.
