8" Upgrade issues - need help with AsBuilt configuration

I recently upgraded my stock 4" radio (Base Mustang GT) to a 2020 Sync 3 radio. I swapped the APIM, ACM (wanted CD and Sirius) , and faceplate

I have successfully installed the system, however there are a few issues I’m having and I’m not sure where to find the correct AB codes.

  • SiriusXM button does not work - (installed a NGVA3 Sirius XM antenna w/ adapter)
  • Sound Settings stuck at full for treble, mids, and bass
  • Volume knob not working or showing the volume level pop-up
  • also, how do I disable heated steering wheel and climate seats?

You will need FORScan to make the adjustments in the APIM and ACM asbuilts to remedy the listed issues.

Your APIM is a 5U5T-14G371-CMD, which is a MY20+ NAV Sync unit. Be aware you can never update the maps on this Sync APIM thru reformat as it will brick the APIM. Nor can you update them thru Ford as you will not have the proper licensing.

The new ACM is a LR3T-19C107-CF. It is equipped with SDARS, CD, HD Radio.

Attached are the APIM and ACM asbuilt adjustments you should make to fix the APIM and ACM.

As far as the climate seats and steering wheel, they should be able to be turned off in the IPC menu. I took them out of the APIM asbuilt, but that just removes the controls thru Sync.

If you also changed the FCIM (faceplate) you will need to make adjustments to that module also. You will need to enter the VIN and adjust the asbuilt for your vehicle’s features.

Wondering if you can help me out? I just upgrade my screen from a 4” to 8” screen in my 2021 Ford Escape S model and need the codes for expanding the screen to 8” (right now it shows 4 in video in the corner of the 8” screen). In addition need to enable touchscreen and apple car play. Can you help? What do you need from me? I do have the upgraded usb hub and sync 3.4 APIM installed.
