ACM configuration support

Hi folks,
I have retrofitted Sync 3 to my Sync 2.5 Fiesta 2020. Sync and all feature are working well but I still have issues with ACM configuration (as also retrofitted).

I sound options on Sync 3 I can choose profiles of sound like “whole car” and “only driver”. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for my ACM. Just no difference between both options (it used to work great in Sync 2.5).

Also I cannot find any explanation of AsBuilt of my ACM (probably I have one from B&O full option, but my car have standard 6-speakers option).
I corrected build and set that I have 6 speakers and no DSP module and ACM don’t have any errors, but as I say previously - not all options works as it should.

My retrofitted ACM module: h1bt-18c815-VN (I tried to update it to VV but Forscan missing 2 files for update :frowning: ).

Asbuild configuration attached to the topic. I also compared it with other Fiesta 2020 with Sync 3 and 6 speakers but these asbuilts are completely different. Same AB as mine have only fully featured with b&o fiestas. Forscan “easy” asbuilt editor treads my car like it have 2.5 ACM so maybe 3 of 50 funtions are working.

If someone can help with asbuilt or missing functionality I will be very grateful!

  1. you have to load ForScan with no profile
  2. The B&O ACM is just like the late Sony ACM, what looks like a mini USB on the back is actually an A2B audio bus line that runs to the DSP.

Drop you’re original ACM back in the car, and set the APIM config to non-Sony/Revel/B&O

  1. I tried and created competely new ForScan profile, like always when making any changes in the car in hardware.
  2. I cannot drop original ACM because old one was from Sync 2.5 which is not just ACM but ACM + Sync module in one. Completely not compatible with APIM.
    This ACM which I have don’t have any additional USB ports, it looks like normal ACM for any Fiesta.

APIM is set for normal audio setup without DSP and DACM. Also all settings in Sync are same as for normal audio setup, so APIM set properly.

On the back also no USB plug.

There are several threads on here relating to folks trying to swap out the EU ACM and the models that are compatible.
You’re trying to drop a 2018 ACM in and it may not be fully compatible with a 2020MY car.
