I’m wanting to add the front park assist sensors to my se fusion. it’s already got the rear sensors. i am wondering to see if anyone has done it and if it’s hard. i have access to forscan and i have experience wiring to can bus lines
I have done this on an Explorer. The sensors do not wire to Canbus, only the module or BCM does for that option. You will need Forscan to calibrate the sensors but it is pretty straight forward once you have the wire diagrams.
Just adding the sensors doesn’t mean you’ll get working auto park.
That requires different rear ABS sensors, changes to the ABS, PSCM, etc.
I did not have to change the rear sensors in my case. They worked jsut fine. But I did change several AB options in several modules.
