Hi there, I’ve been researching upgrading the camera system on my 2019 escape as it’s pretty grainy. I saw a post on a F150 thread that involved swapping the connectors used from the camera to the IPMA and then from the IPMA to the APIM to the digital composite wires to get the HD camera. My concern was this was done after a sync 4 conversion, and as this swap requires enabling values in the APIM, I was wondering if it would even be worth bothering to do this install while I was running sync 3.
