Anc not working mondeo hybrid

Hi, I’ve been struggling with ANC not working in my Mondeo Hybrid 2015 for a while now. I had Sync2 out of the box without the Sony system, but with ANC (Forscan shows an additional DACMC module). The problem generally started after switching from Sync2 to Sync3. I only changed the APIM, the ACM was the factory one. Initially, the problem was that the chimes were coming from the IPC instead of the speakers. I fixed it by disabling ANC in the ACM configuration. Recently, I even replaced the ACM (which supports ANC, of ​​course) and flashed the factory ASbuilt to the ACM and DACMC. The result is that the ringtones are coming from the speakers, but the ANC still doesn’t work and throws errors:

It’s related to the lack of microphone signals. Any ideas on how to fix this? When changing from Sync 2 to Sync 3, I didn’t touch anything related to ANC. My VIN is: WF0DXXWPCHFK26378. I have factory-installed ASBuilt in both the ACM and DACMC. Is it possible that some of the ringer and ANC signals are overlapping, making it impossible to configure both systems? I’m completely out of ideas what else I can do.

I will add that after changing the configuration in acm, when anc is enabled and the ringtones are from ipc, dacmc does not generate any errors - but it’s hard for me to say whether anc works then :smiley:

I have added ANC to 2 of my cars and found that not all ACM’s are equil when it comes to PIN outs on the ACM’s. I would double check to make sure those did not change. Also wires vs A2B effect it also I found with the DSP.

I agree with you though as it is really hard to tell if it is working or not.

The clue about the pins in the ACM is good, but until now the ACM was factory and it was exactly the same, it reacts to configuration changes, so I only changed it due to lack of ideas, but I don’t think it was the culprit.
