I have a 2017 F150 Limited. I am currently trying to update the BCM Firmware via Windows laptop and Forscan 2.4.7 test20230425 and a VXDiag VCX Nano wired adapter. I got a message in Forscan saying “Programming was successful, but something went wrong. Module seems bricked.” Now my truck will not even turn on my IPC APIM or anything.
I was able to get my BCM working again by reprogramming the factory firmware. I am not sure why but flashing any of the 3 update calibration files listed as available in Forscan soft bricks my BCM.
