I did NOT update anything since I am facing issues still, so ignore the “CyanLabs Manual Method” I ticked down below! Same with the sync versions, they are bogus since I dont have access to my car ATM. Thanks!
Hey everyone, I’m hoping one of you guys can help me out. I purchased the NaviUpgrade kit but unfortunately Brian’s not replying so here I am.
I originally had the 4" BVC before upgrading to SYNC 3 using an APIM from a 2017 Ford Escape (I kept the stock ACM). Using the kit I bought, everything was plug and play and the APIM Programming was easy (got a file sent from NaviUpgrade and it worked); however, my problem comes from the stock ACM. Brian sent me a file but when I tried flashing it, I got this error message ‘Configuration structure mismatch’.

This is the issue I am facing: the steering wheel media controls are acting funny (ones on the right side by where the ‘paddle shifter’ sits). Whenever I try skipping or going back to a song, it switches sources, and when I adjust the volume using the steering wheel media buttons, it adjusts the volume but also switches sources.

The other issue I am facing is the actual steering wheel buttons (ones with arrows and OK). They don’t work except for the OK button which activates SYNC/Siri voice commands.

Last issue (easy to fix I’m assuming) I’m facing is a navigation problem. I keep getting a navigation fault, and after trying a master reset and 2 different GPS antennas, I’m guessing my APIM doesn’t have nav which I’m okay with, my question is: how would I reprogram it to remove the Nav option on the Ford Main Page? I have FORScan (w an extended license) and FoCCCus and a HS/MS ELM adapter. Thanks for any help.
