Calm screen

Hi all. Just a quick question. Updated my 2018 sync 3 to sync 3.4. No issues what so ever. Just checking as I saw you can get radio logos and calm screen with an update but mine unit is showing the radio and dab logos but no calm screen. Would this still need a update for the calm screen?

Hey thank you for replying. Yes it does make sense. I wasn’t sure if the logos and calm screen were independent or if one worked the other did. I didn’t need to make any changes for the logos to work after updating to 3.4.

I’ll look into doing a firmware update.

About them being independent, I’m not 100% sure either, but I remember the “real issue” was calm screen… it was the most picky one…

Maybe you could use the information on that thread to determine where your APIM stands, and then decide if further action ks required.

You won’t get calm screen without the firmware update, assuming you have configured your as-built correctly
