The Ford Focus Mk3.5 ST’s steering angle setting refers to the calibration of the steering angle sensor, which is crucial for the vehicle’s stability control system. If the sensor is misaligned, it can cause the stability control to malfunction or be disabled. The sensor, located on the steering column, needs to be calibrated if the steering rack or column is worked on, or if the toe-in is adjusted
So, the sensor, located on the “steering column” would be pinion.
