Climate control & Chime strategy question

Hello there.

I have a question regarding Climate Control and Chime Strategy in Forscan APIM 7D01 blocks.

Climate Control is on SGEA - North America Strategy
Chime Strategy is on North America Strategy

Now, my vehicle is one from Europe so I wonder if these settings are correct :thinking:

I’ve been searching the internet for some answers, but probably I didn’t look hard enough. Could you guys give me some info on this one?

I looked at a few Mondeo asbuilts and they are set for NA Climate and Chimes as below, so not unusual.

DE00 7D0-01-01 xxxx *xxx xx–
Auxiliary Input, Climate Control Strategy, Chime Strategy, Type of Volume Knob Display
0=Aux Audio Only, CGEA Climate, NA Chimes Strategy, Rotary Volume
1=Aux Audio Only, CGEA Climate, NA Chimes Strategy, Horizontal Volume
2=Aux Audio Only, CGEA Climate, EU Chimes Strategy, Rotary Volume
3=Aux Audio Only, CGEA Climate, EU Chimes Strategy, Horizontal Volume
4=Aux Audio Only, C1MCA Climate, NA Chimes Strategy, Rotary Volume
5=Aux Audio Only, C1MCA Climate, NA Chimes Strategy, Horizontal Volume

This would have more to do with the vehicle network architecture than it would with where the vehicle physically is. Changing this would not accomplish anything.
