I have a 2013 Focus ST which has sync 1 and oem reversing camera. I’m wanting to convert to sync 3. If I purchase a 2017 apim for this process, do I need to replace the 2013 oem camera with a 2017 oem camera for it to work properly?
Likely yes this will give you better results. And By the way…rewire the camera to the APIM without using the RCA connector. There are several threads here about Sync 1 to 3 conversions and the camera issues.
