DCDC firmware update gone wrong

, , ,

Hi, i tried a DCDC firmware update on my 2020 Ford Puma Hybrid. I was updating from LX7A-14D459-AH to LX7A-14D459-AK. The update didn’t went good and now my on car the hybrid part doesn’t work. I tried to reinstall factory LX7A-14D459-AH but Fordscan can’t download the files because it can’t find it. Any suggestion? I have another identical car, can i download the file from the working one somehow and then flash it into the “broken” one? Is there any database where i can try to find LX7A-14D459-AH?

You can’t download firmware/calibration files from another car.
My suggestion here is to look on the ForScan forum and see if anyone has access to the original calibration file.

This is Ford’s database but I don’t see that file here.

Not terribly surprising that European files aren’t there.
I tried to hunt down the calibration for the B&O DSP so that I could use the B&O sound control on the wife’s 2020 Escape Ti and I could never find them.

Wound up getting a B&O DSP out of a UK Puma.
