We have various vehicles for our spare parts warehouse, all of which are equipped with the audible speed warning system.
Is there a way to deactivate the acoustic speed warning, as it is currently reactivated after every ignition cycle?
However, as our drivers are constantly stopping and restarting their vehicles, the warning is naturally quite annoying.
We have original FDRS and ForScan with extended license available.
I would also like to know whether it is possible to deactivate the lane departure warning system, as this is also activated with every ignition cycle.
Of course, it would be best if you could simply deactivate the systems in the sync menu as before if not desired, or activate them as normal without resetting them with every ignition cycle.
Vehicles are all built from 2024 upwards with SYNC4 on board.

When you start the vehicle, the speed warning (audible = signal tone and displayed in the IPC) is always active.
Although it can be deactivated with the LIM button on the steering wheel, it must be deactivated again after each ignition cycle.
We would therefore like to deactivate this speed warning for our company vehicles so that the warning is not reactivated every time the vehicle is restarted.
The problem with the lane departure warning system is as follows:
Some of our drivers do not want the lane departure warning system, but it is also always activated when the vehicle is restarted.
We would also like to deactivate this.
Hopefully I’ve explained it clearly now, it’s not always easy when English isn’t your first language
My gut is that disabling this is going to be a long complicated set of mods as this came in when Ford started pushing Ford 360.
You won’t find this in FDRS, you might have some luck on the ForScan forums.
Best place to start is using AsBuilt Explorer to compare the AB of a Transit in the same generation where this wasn’t a default setting (eg a 2021, and no I don’t know if that’s a year that had it defaulted off) vs the AB of one of your 2024’s
Good point, I had already thought of that. But even we as a Ford dealer find it difficult to find a car like that to test. I’m already in contact with a friend at conversmod, apparently there’s already a possibility here.
