Downsizing ACM to work with non B&O expedition

I received an HD ACM from a 2020 Expedition Platinum (LL1T-18D818-CC). It’s got all the bells and whistles like HD Radio, XM, A2B, ANC etc.

I am wondering if this ACM could be downsized to work with my 2020 Expedition XLT with NO B&O sound system. I am thinking if it could be possible to use at least features like HD radio and mix mode presets?

My experiance has been that if the ACM has an A2B port than it has to have an A2B amp. I have tried turning the A2B off in the AB and I could not get it to work without the right A2B amp.

Otherwise it will work fine.

Thank you so much! @bill32399 this is very helpful, it saves lot of time and effort. I will stick to my current ACM in this case.
