Ford focus non nav to download nav in apim 16 GB

Hi, i did successfully upgrade ford sync 3 16 gb apim with cut map method but when i am enable the navigation its not showing anything. Gps is working and compass working correctly.

Is there anything to change in asbuilt or doing some extra settings?

Thanks in advance! //Dev

What are your country codes set to? The need to be set to where you actually are. Also, did you load the maps for your location?

Hi @F150Chief ! Yes i downloaded map cersion for sweden. Where should i change my country code? Is it through forscan? Thank You //Dev

Yes. Is the vehicle imported or did you purchase it new in Sweden? Where did you get the Sync 3 update?

No it is not imported vehicle and yes i bought it in sweden and update Sync 3 through Cyanlabs. Which asbuilt for country code (APIM or IPC)?.

There are several, but if you bought it in Sweden not imported it is likely OK. But, the APIM could need to be set. You will need FORScan and an adapter. The country code is in the APIM. The settings are in the Sync 3 Asbuilt Database here on the site.

Before we go there, which files did you install? Or run the Interrogator Utility in the Syn3 Updater and post the XML here.

If you are running the Interrogator Utility there is nothing to install. There should be an XML file on the USB in the SyncMyRide folder now. Post that here, just drag the file to the editor box here.

Pardon me i didn’t saw it.

Your country code is set correctly in Sync, 5357 for Sweden.
You have the correct maps loaded…
1U5T-14G421-BAL
1U5T-14G421-BBL
1U5T-14G421-BCL
You do not have the NAV Voice file loaded, but there is not enough storage for this. Without this file you will not have turn by turn voice prompts.
4U5T-14G422-BDL
You have the Sync app and voice file, Gracenote…
5U5T-14G381-EU
5U5T-14G391-AR
4U5T-14G423-AC
Storage is questionable. You only have 3.0MB of free space left on the unit. You will have performance issues with slow response, occasional lockups, and repetitive reboots.

According to your APIM asbuilt, NAV is turned off. You are putting maps on a non-Nav APIM. For this to work you will need to program the APIM for NAV. This is totally up to you, as it may cause the unit to stop working altogether. I do not recommend doing this…

To enable NAV:
Change 7D0-01-02 00BC 1510 02
to 7D0-01-02 02BC 1510 02
