Wifi Updates can be disabled and probably should be.
The XML file should never be uploaded to Ford since you are using unofficial software, i therefore exclude the package that creates said XML. you are unlikely to get official ford updates but personally if your car was on any version before 3.2 i don't reckon ford cares and will even ever update you.
I would suggest doing the whole process as it's simpler. You can in theory do a autoinstall.lst but it's easier to just restart from scratch

Did you update your firmware logos only show with a Apim firmware update via Forscan experimental builds or UCDS
dont use 400mb files, only the ~800mb ones
nope also not working but i have downgraded and all sorts with no change, i think mine is a hardware fault just not sure exactly what at the minute.
this is usually caused by FAT32 not exFAT USB's during the install, if you do this process with exFAT it should work, however knowing what version you on would help assist better
i mean i would update to latest if it was me but you'll have to decide that for yourself.
