Remote start. Fordpass, air conditioning does not heat to 22 degrees Celsius, nor does it cool to 22 degrees Celsius. With remote start, the air conditioning works but not as strongly as it should. Settings in IPC to Auto. Where should I look for the problem or where do I set the parameter 22 degrees Celsius?
The climate control using remote start is based on numerous parameters when set to Auto. Setting the value to Last Used (?) will restore the settings of when you turned off the car last. Maybe this would be a better option.
Thank you for your answer. Remote heating is mainly related to charging the battery, but I think I have solved this problem. On cold days the PTC heater does not heat well. When I get in the car and turn on the POWER button, it heats 100% when the coolant temperature reaches 40 degrees. I do not know why the computer has chosen this strategy. Last winter it heated strongly. Changing to the last setting does not change much. I do not have any errors. The seat and window heating works. I charged the battery, reset the BCM, and upgraded the FCIM module. I do not know what else to check.
Either your battery is not reaching 100% SOC (State of Charge). This is not just charged to voltage but is the batteries discharge capacity.
Or, your PTC heater is failing. Looking thru recent posts in EV forums indicates these do not last very long in cold climates.
It reaches 100% SoC only when I reset the BCM. Then it maintains 80% SoC. In fact, when testing the battery with an external tester, it suggests replacing the battery, it only has 50% life. The battery is new, 8 months old. Is there an As-Built configuration somewhere for remote climate control? Or what assumptions must be met for the PTC to turn on?
The heater will nort run long on a battery that will only maintain 80% SOC. You might want to look into getting a replacement under warranty if that battery truely is 50% done.
I will try to go in this direction but it seems strange to me because the engine is started on remote start.
Please explain to me the principle of changes in As Built. By changing one position in the line, do I change the settings for many modules? For example https://cyanlabs.net/asbuilt-db/sync3-apim/?search=Digital%2520Audio%2520Broadcast%2520(DAB)
DE00/7D0-01-01: xxxx-xxx*-xxxx one change and it concerns the settings: DAB Radio, Climate, SWAS and HD Radio? I wonder if I have also unknowingly changed something in the Remote Start settings.
This should have been stated in the very first line. Not once did you mention until now that you were messing with the AB in Forscan.
Hard for people to help when you don’t give them all the details of what you have done.
This would not affect remote start settings, these are in the FCIM.
I didn’t say anything because I restored to factory settings. But true, I could have mentioned.
I have looked through all the settings and they seem ok. I have to replace the battery, maybe it is the cause of the poor PTC performance. It seemed to me that 80%SoC is ok.
